TAP NO. 20: JURY DUTY TIME – ALL UNIVERSITY EMPLOYEES

Employees required to fulfill their obligation to serve on jury duty or those subpoenaed as witnesses will continue to receive their full pay from the University. University employees who work shifts will have their wages continued only if jury duty specifically interferes with the shift they are working. Service for time other than their regular shift will not be covered.

The University may ask for verification of a summons or subpoena in order to provide for payment for time away from work.
