Duquesne University is motivated by its
Catholic identity and values equality of opportunity,

Accordingly, the University
prohibits and does not engage in discrimination

national origin, sex, age, disability or status
as a veteran or disabled veteran. Duquesne University
will continue to take affirmative steps to support
and advance these values consistent with the
University's mission statement.
This policy applies
to all program and activities of the University,
including, but not limited to, admission and
employment practices, educational policies,
scholarship and loan programs and athletic or
other University-sponsored programs.

Americans with Disabilities
Act (ADA)
In accordance with Federal law and University
policy, Duquesne does not discriminate against
disabled people who can perform the essential
functions of a job. The University will make
reasonable accommodations which would enable
an employee to perform the essential job functions.
The Office
of Human Resource Management will work in cooperation
with the disabled employee and appropriate supervisors,
department head and divisional representatives
to ensure reasonable and effective accommodations
are made.
