Program Goal

The key goal of the Training and Development Program is to provide educational opportunities for employees that improve on-the-job performance. Programs concentrate in the areas of: professional and skill development; University systems and procedures; University compliance with local, state, and federal employment laws; and Wellness.

The Office of Human Resource Management also maintains a Training and Development Library of books, workbooks, and video tapes which address various business and wellness related topics. These materials are available to be borrowed by Duquesne University employees.
